Practice Manager at Private GP - Great Job Opportunity
A fantastic opportunity as a Practice Manager has opened up at a small private general doctor's practice in Chelsea, London. The main GP who established the practice is looking to expand the team by bringing in one or two more doctors due to the practice's growth and increasing number of patients, especially UHNW individuals and families.
Details:
- Salary: £50k to £60k (based on experience)
- Permanent full-time position
- On-site 5 days a week from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm
- Location: Chelsea, London
Requirements:
- Must have the right to work in the UK
- Prior experience in private general practice, preferably as a practice manager
- Familiarity with Semble (formerly Heydoc) is a plus
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Highly organized with great attention to detail
- Excellent English language skills
- Experience working with UHNW patients and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Stay updated on CQC regulations and ensure compliance
- Coordinate and oversee staff training
- Manage agendas and minutes for various meetings
- Handle IT and software maintenance
- Ensure information governance
- Maintain equipment functionality and patient access
- Monitor staffing adequacy and training
- Organize cleaning services as per CQC guidelines
- Manage waste disposal and emergency supplies
- Implement performance and staff management strategies
- Address complaints promptly
- Handle supplies ordering and stocktaking
- Review contracts and expenses regularly
- Assist as a secretary when needed
