Job description

We are an independent community pharmacy based in the Pontllanfraith Health Centre.

We have a very high level of dispensing and are looking to recruit a dispenser on a temporary contract to support us whilst we train staff in new working practises.

The role will work 3 days a week, 09.00 to some room for flexibility) with the scope for additional hours to cover holidays.

Essential Skills:

  • Technician NVQ Level
  • Able to dispense medication and process prescriptions accurately and efficiently.
  • Passionate about promoting and delivering pharmacy services, creating opportunities with customers where appropriate and delivering high levels of care.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills, being confident to give healthcare advice on common minor ailments.
  • Good planning and organising skills with a strong attention to detail.
  • High standards of literacy & numeracy.
  • Good levels of IT literacy.
  • Works well under pressure.

Hours: 18 hours per week
