Saudi Arabia (Must be willing to relocate and work in Saudi)nNationalities permitted to apply: EuropeannOverview:nWe are seeking a Downstream Process Engineer with an experience in Solomon benchmarking methodologies and performance analysis to join our Affiliates Manufacturing Excellence Department (AMED) under the Downstream Global Manufacturing to support and oversee the performances of the company's global manufacturing assets.
Affiliates Manufacturing Excellence Department (AMED) is a multifunctional business unit and a front office setup to oversee the company's affiliates' operational performance, manage HSSE and facilitate driving manufacturing excellence across the portfolio.
AMED Acts as the primary interface between the company and Affiliates by advising, coordinating, assuring and prompting services & support and conducting Affiliates manufacturing performance analysis and benchmarking.
Your primary role will be to provide technical expertise in conducting benchmarking and analyzing the performances of Global Manufacturing assets using Solomon performance metrics.
You will also be expected to provide support in closing the performance gaps identified in the benchmarking process.nDuties and responsibilities:
nCoordinate and support the administration of Solomon benchmarking studies and relevant requirements for Global Manufacturing facilities.nFacilitate data collection, verification and data quality review during the conduct of Solomon benchmarking in Global Manufacturing Affiliates' facilities.nReview and ascertain the competitive positions of Global Manufacturing facilities in the industry based on the Solomon benchmarking results.nDocument the findings and recommendations of the studies for presentation to Global Manufacturing management and affiliates.nLead the planning, development, and execution of solutions to bridge the performance gaps identified.nFormulate expense/margin optimization plans to maximize financial performance of Global Manufacturing Affiliates' facilities.nCoordinate with affiliates' facilities to establish performance targets and measure progress using Solomon metrics.nAssess future impact of planned capital improvements and modifications.nDevelop regular performance benchmarking reports capturing the Solomon metrics for all Global Manufacturing affiliates' facilities.
nMinimum requirements:
nMust hold a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related specialization.
An advanced degree is preferred.nMust have a minimum of 15 years total refinery and/or chemical process units experience with at least 5 years specialized experience in Solomon benchmarking and analysis of associated metrics.nWorking knowledge in refinery and chemical industry process plant characteristics is essential.nMust possess the ability to facilitate technical discussions and use influence to align various stakeholders.nMust be proficient in data analysis and data visualization tools.
