Not many people know that they have a Finance,Payroll and Pension's function based here in Preston, and we now have a rare opportunity for a lucky Payroll Administrator to join them

Don't let the 18-month contract put you off, as by the time the contract is completed the Payroll Manager plans to retire, and so our client is ideally looking for someone who can step into his shoes.

How you'll spend your timeAs Payroll Administrator you will work within the finance team of 5 people and closely with the Payroll Manager, in an office filled with "decent, down to earth people who know how to have a good laugh" while providing an exceptional Payroll service and takingresponsible for:

  • Reconciling and running monthly payroll including sending the BACS and RTI file.
  • Resolve payroll discrepancies by collecting and analysing information.
  • Assisting with the annual pension increase exercise
  • Raising deduction and PAYE payments to HMRC and all other 3rd party payments.
  • Working with the project teams with testing changes on the Pensions and Payroll system
  • Providing necessary administrative support on ad hoc projects
