Knowledge of ISO Standards is required for this role

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Maintain the existing quality management system to ensure compliance with the requirements of ISO 900
  • Maintain and update QMS processes and documentation, so as to be compliant with GDP requirements.
  • Maintain and update QMS processes and documentation, so as to be compliant with the terms of the company's MHRA licence.
  • Management of internal audit processes.
  • Management of external audit processes (ISO 9001, MHRA, Suppliers).
  • Management of CAPA and Customer Complaints processes.
  • Management of quality actions with customers and suppliers.
  • Main point of contact for all regulatory and statutory bodies.
  • Staff training in quality management issues.
  • Organising and hosting management review meetings, including follow up actions.
  • Maintenance of health and safety systems and processes.
  • Completion of health and safety statement and policies for the company.
  • Staff awareness training in health and safety.
  • Conduct of health and safety audits and corrective actions.
  • Ensuring adherence of the company to Health & Safety regulations.
  • Management of compliance and regulatory requirements of NHS and other customers, suppliers, statutory authorities or other bodies.
  • Working closely with individual managers and staff across the company to proactively work with them and assist them in addressing nonconformances and enhancements to procedures in their area of responsibility.
  • Providing cover for other staff if required during periods of short staffing.
  • Any other tasks nominated by the company or its representatives."
