A highly respected consultancy firm is in search of their next Associate Director for their London office. As an Associate Director within Project Controls, you will be responsible for managing the assessment of project time, cost, and quality targets, as well as coordinating the communication and monitoring of project governance controls to ensure successful delivery of the Client Programme.

Responsibilities:

  • Establish contractor requirements through early supply chain engagement to support project targets and monthly reporting.
  • Collaborate with the Head of Project Controls to enhance operating policies and mitigate risks.
  • Provide specialist advice and technical knowledge to address project delays and challenges.
  • Oversee correlation of schedule, cost, quality, and risk to drive efficient project delivery.
  • Manage period reporting cycle and ensure alignment with executive reporting standards.
  • Lead business reporting, ensure quality and provide progress updates to stakeholders.
  • Maintain governance processes and review policies to align with business objectives.
  • Lead and support a team, set objectives, review performance, and provide feedback.
  • Undertake procedural compliance self-assessments and share best practices.
  • Prepare for and attend meetings to deliver insights to Client's Senior Commercial teams.

Requirements:

  • Experience in Project Management or Project Controls within large infrastructure projects.
  • Knowledge of transport and/or major infrastructure projects and NEC Forms of Contract.
  • Ability to manage stakeholders and information flow.
  • Experience leading and motivating teams in large project environments.
  • Attention to detail, problem-solving, and risk mitigation skills.
  • Understanding of public sector policies and associated political impacts.
