Organon are recruiting a
QMS Improvement Specialist to join our world class manufacturing site in Cramlington, Northumberland.

In this role you will be responsible for proactively implementing projects which will re-engineer everyday business activities to deliver improved quality, compliance, and cost objectives within the Cramlington QMS.

These projects will follow the Lean & Six Sigma methodologies and serve to educate key stakeholders and project team members in Lean and Six Sigma methods.


Responsibilities:

  • Support and execute improvements within the QMS with the use of the LSS methodologies, facilitating and supporting where required.
  • Support various Quality impacting QMS Topics, attending related CoPs and implementing topic updates.
  • Liaise with site Topic Owners and department SMEs as appropriate.
  • Develop, manage, and continually improve the site's QMS in accordance with company guidelines.
  • Develop a network of contacts to enable benchmarking from both within the pharmaceutical industry and external to the pharmaceutical industry to help identify areas for improvement and best practices.
  • Ensure daily activities are aligned to strategic direction and deliverables.

Requirements:

  • Experience in pharmaceutical environment and quality management systems.
  • Experience of using Lean methodologies.
  • Degree in Chemistry, Pharmacy, or other scientific discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • Good written and spoken communication skills and ability to work in and lead crossfunctional teams.
  • Ability to be decisive and influence across disciplines and all levels.
  • Thrives on new challenges and is motivated by new learning opportunities.
  • Ability to support and implement multiple projects/tasks simultaneously with competing and/or changing priorities, effective time management.
