About the role


This role is a vital link between Europe Spirits, Market, Source, Make and Move functions to enable delivery of supply and scheduled production plans that meet business and customer needs.

This will be delivered via highly developed partnerships and adopting an Integrated Business Management approach.- You will lead, manage, coach and develop a team of Supply Schedulers and TPO planners to ensure the required Supply Chain functional and leadership capabilities are being continuously developed in line with Diageo capabilities.- You'll ensure production plans deliver customer & market requirements.

Manage capacity horizon at Leven packaging plan and UK TPOs to meet requirements and avoid additional costs.- Produce clear and concise scheduling production plans to guarantee availability of product to meet customer demand on time and in full to world-class standards while maximising production efficiency.- Build and maintain excellent relationships with key stakeholder at all levels within the organisation and leverage these relationships to deliver the Europe Spirits Category strategy.- Play a lead role in run and improve the business, Global Supply Chain Projects, Continuous Improvement agenda, Product Innovation and Renovation Processes, balancing need for flexibility with commitments to service, cost and quality.- Ensure excellent communications by self & team of forward plans to each participant in supply chain (e.g. Source, Make and Move).

About you


To be successful in role you will have experience working in Supply Chain planning with strong manufacturing / planning / production scheduling experience.

Ideally you will have people management experience and the ability to network and influence.

You will have excellent analytical skills and attention to detail and be an experienced user of planning systems. (SAP APO preferred).
