That is why their team of professionals works tirelessly to develop custom solutions tailored to fit the specific needs of each individual.

As a Speech Pathologist, you will be responsible for the Speech Therapy management of individuals with a variety of conditions including neurological and developmental conditions.

Your tasks will include:

  • Monitor, evaluate and modify treatment to measure client effective progress
  • Assess, diagnose, and treat individuals with communication disorders
  • Discuss services and treatment options with potential clients and/or their primary caregivers.
  • Asses costing and rehabilitiation reportsto Case Managers and autorities in charge.
  • Advise treatment options with potential clients andtheir primary caregivers.
  • Ensure that clients are involved in the planningof their rehabilitation plans
  • Provide supportand advice on relevant Physiotherapy issues to clients and caregivers.
  • Help in services such as health, social, statutory and voluntary.
  • Communicate in an effective manerwith clients and carers to maximise rehabilitation.
  • Share Speech Pathology Management best practices to relatives, carers and other members involved.
  • Communicate effectively with all authorized sectors to ensure succesfuldelivery, includingcase conferences, joint sessions,and documentation.
  • Obtain valid informed consent and collaborate with clients who lack the capacity to consent to treatment.
  • Set up actionable objectives and inform the involved parties
  • Develop therapy service to clients in line with national guidelines
  • Inform Clinical management on issues of service delivery.
  • Responsible for the implementation of clinical policies and protocols.
  • Assess and identify new equipment as appropriate to a client's clinical need.
  • Knowledge of the funding arrangements of all clients, including restrictions from third parties
  • Training of staff.

To be a good fit for the Speech Pathologist role, you will have:

  • Studies in Speech Pathology (Undergraduate or Masters)
  • Full valid Driver's License
  • Working with Children's Check
  • Experience or interest in Neurologicalrehabilitation.
  • Work in accordance with the speech pathology of health professionals guidelines.
