responsible for managing all phases of product engineering, new product development and production support for our Automotive product line - TrenchFET N-Channel and P-Channel Power MOSFETs to help drive the health and quality of high-performance power products.

Functions as the central resource with design, manufacturing, quality and test as the product(s) move to completion and distribution. Ensures that products shipped meet specifications and quality goals. Formulates and executes long term plans for cost/profit control.

nThe ideal candidate will be working Hybrid/Remote in the Newport, UK , Taipei, Taiwan, GermanynWhat You Will Be DoingnTo lead the Global Power MOSFET Product Engineering Team in the technical management of New and established products within the Automotive Division.nTo manage s n ew product introduction from product definition and development through to characterization, qualification, and release phases, liaising with Market development, R&D, Package, Device design and manufacturing organizations.nTo define statistical test methods to optimize yield and drive quality defect reduction programs.nTo support product problem solving with manufacturing, CQM, design, Product marketing and Application organizations within a fast paced Automotive customer environmentnTo define technical management presentations relative to technical problems and project status.nLiaises with Wafer fabrication and Package assembly operation and engineering teams in the technical resolution of product yield deficits.

This includes U.K, Germany, Taiwan and China locations.nTo define and reviews Automotive technical specifications.nWhat You Will Bring AlongnMaster degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics or Microelectronics or similar.nDISCRETE MOSFET semiconductor knowledge in Silicon MOSFET technologies (Trench or Split Gate etc).

Can consider IGBT, Silicon Carbide and Gallium Arsenide product lines.nStrong knowledge in the development and technical management of Automotive MOSFET Productsn15+ years


Discrete MOSFET engineering experiencen5+ years in an Engineering management capacitynMust be very familiar with AEC-Q101 Automotive Qualification Testing standards.nExperience in managing a global team of Product Engineers is highly desired.nTechnical Hands-on management is essential to the position.nProject management experience in managing an Automotive new product development and facility to facility product transfers.nStrong knowledge in Automotive AEC Q101 testing and qualification requirements/methods.nFamiliarity with Discrete MOSFET semiconductor ATE (automatic test equipment) Wafer and Package test methods is preferable.nExperience in yield or statistical analysis software platforms, Exensio is preferred.
