Due to taking on a new large contract we are looking for an additional Self Employed Courier Drivers required for a very busy York based National Same-day Freight company.

Full Time Position

Vehicle and fuel provided.

Must have own Sat Nav and safety boots.

Maximum 6 points on driving licence

Must have previous experience of driving a van / large vehicle

This is a permanent position for the right person.

We are looking to recruit a hard working, honest and reliable person to make deliveries on a daily basis anywhere in mainland Britain

.This is not a 9-5 role. We provide 24/7 cover to our clients which means you could spend up to 2/3 nights a week away from home. Night out rate £35

Monday to Friday work basic hourly rate. Weekend work paid at enhanced rate

Salary:
£11.00-£15.50 per hour

Schedule:

  • 10 hour shift
  • 12 hour shift
  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Night shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • York: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

  • Driving: 5 years (required)
  • Delivery driver experience: 1 year (preferred)

Language:

  • English (required)

Licence/Certification:

  • Driving Licence (required)
