Role Description:

Responsibilities:

Daily responsibilities in the Electronic Trading Governance & Controls space are FLU-aligned and focused on finding ways and solutions for Electronic Trading business development and control in Global Markets:

  • Increase approvals for new and significantly ET trading pathways, in particular IMA, ITV and Algo/DEA paths.
  • Decrease escalations regarding the above, particularly new risk conditions or overdue resolutions
  • Manage new and significant changes to ET trading pathways, by providing delivery plans, timelines, and accountabilities for approval milestones.
  • Maintain and improve documentation of pathways, changes, decisions, and exceptions related to Electronic Trading activities by the FLU.

What we are looking for:

  • Prior experience in electronic trading, either in trading, product development or 2nd line risk/control function at a tier 1 bank.
  • Fixed Income experience required, crossasset experience in EQ a plus.
  • Understanding of Regulatory aspects: MiFID2, PRA, FCA.
  • Good communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Ability to navigate a diverse array of stakeholders across 1st, 2nd and 3rd LOD.
  • Strong team player.
