Position:
Bar/Club Security Personnel


As Bar/Club Security Personnel with Global Security Guards, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for people and staff at bars and clubs across the country.

From enforcing venue policies to diffusing conflicts, you will help create a positive and enjoyable experience for all customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Greeting people and verifying identification to ensure legal drinking age compliance
  • Monitoring crowd behavior and identifying and addressing any disruptive or potentially dangerous situations
  • Conducting bag checks and enforcing venue policies regarding prohibited items
  • Assisting with crowd control during busy periods, such as weekends and special events
  • Responding promptly and effectively to any security incidents or emergencies, including disturbances or altercations
  • Liaising with venue management, law enforcement, and emergency services as required

Requirements:

  • Must have valid SIA license
  • Previous experience in bar/club security
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure
  • Physical fitness and the ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required

Job Types:
Part-time, Zero hours contract

Pay:
£13.15-£17.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Flexitime
  • Night shift
  • Weekend availability

Experience:

- security: 1 year (preferred)

Language:

  • English (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • First Aid Certification (preferred)
  • SIA (preferred)
  • Driving Licence (preferred)
