Salary: Up-to £65k + bonus scheme (potential to earn total package of £75k on target earnings) + £10,000 joining bonus paid after successful completion of probation (terms apply)

We are passionate about the clinical development of our team, and as our new Optometrist, we would support you with extra courses and specialisms that interest you. Whatever your ambitions, from WOPEC qualifications and independent prescribing to paediatric accreditations or enhanced optical services, we'll do everything we can to help you be the best clinician you can be.

What we're looking for

Alongside being a qualified and GOC registered Optometrist, we are searching for someone who shares our store's ethos. Someone who wants to grow, develop and offer exceptional customer care along the way. We want a practitioner who prides themselves on their clinical judgment, that isn't afraid of a hands-on approach and who is keen to get involved and build rapport with the rest of the team. In summary, we're looking for a skilled resident Optometrist to join us, be part of the team and assist in driving our practice forward.

Your progression

Our Optometrists are an integral part of our store management team, so we're keen to get you up to speed outside the test room too. With ILM courses, Pre-Reg supervision and the Specsavers Partnership scheme (Pathway) all available to explore. Along with your clinical expertise – this will stand you in good stead if you choose to become our store director yourself one day.

Location

Wokingham is a busy market town in Berkshire; 37 miles west of London, 7 miles southeast of Reading, 8 miles north of Camberley and 4 miles west of Bracknell. The train station is a 10-minute walk from the store; London being an easy 35 minute journey.
