We have a vacancy for a part time kitchen assistant / wash up.

Hours are varied and may include weekends and some evenings.

Working under the guidance of our Head Chef, your job is to ensure that the kitchen is clean and operational.

You will also be involved in basic food preparation

Key responsibilities:

  • Ensuring the food preparation areas are clean and hygienic
  • Washing utensils and dishes and making sure they are stored appropriately
  • Sorting, storing and distributing ingredients
  • Washing, peeling, chopping, cutting and cooking foodstuffs and helping to prepare salads and desserts
  • Disposing of rubbish, putting out the bins.
  • Keeping all areas inc
  • Cleaning the food preparation equipment, floors and other kitchen tools or areas
What skills do I need?

  • Understanding the importance of health and hygiene
  • Plenty of stamina
  • A great team player
  • The ability to listen and learn
  • No qualifications required If you've got a desire to learn to cook, common sense and commitment.

Rate of pay :
Up to £11.90 per hour depending on age and experience

Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time

Pay:
£11.90 per hour

Expected hours:
No more than 40 per week
