Lincolnshire Field Products Ltd is a grower and packer of vegetable products. We farm around 15,000 acres in South Lincolnshire, close to Spalding. Our crops are mainly Brassicas, Potatoes, Cereals and Sugar Beet. Our vegetables are supplied to the major food retailers.


We are looking for an additional person to join our team in the position of Yard Supervisor, responsible for overseeing harvested product and other deliveries coming into site, and the safe unloading/loading practices.

This is a full time, permanent position. Hours of work will be Monday to Friday , with one weekend morning. A flexible approach to working hours is required.

Own transport is essential as there are no public transport links to our premises. Free car parking is available.

The possession of a counterbalance fork lift licence is essential, however refresher training can be provided. Experience of supervising staff or working in a warehouse environment would also be advantageous.

A competitive rate of pay is offered.

The main duties will include:

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with the managing of the daytoday operations of the yard
  • Follows & Promotes Health & Safety, Environmental Policies and Company guidelines, to maintain a safe and efficient working environment.
  • Controlling the traffic management on site for forklift & Tractor/Lorry movements
  • Motivate and guide the different functions of the yard team.
  • Assist in the unloading and loading of vehicles
  • Maintains a positive attitude and professional approach.

What we need from you:

  • Forklift Truck Licence
  • At least two years' experience in a supervisory role
  • Proficient written and verbal communication skills
  • Computer literate
  • Experience of Fresh Produce and prepack/factory environment/Warehouse
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Have a flexible approach to working hours and shift patterns

Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time

Expected hours:
No less than 42.5 per week
