Palliative Care Assistant

We are looking for full and part time experienced care workers to join our Palliative Care Teams working across Sunderland.

As a palliative carer you will work alongside another carer visiting your allocated clients in their own homes.

Vacancies are open to experienced carer's with the skills to work in an emotionally demanding role, providing quality care and support to your clients and their families in the final stages of life.

Palliative care isn't for everyone. The right person will have the ability to work in what can be an emotionally charged and demanding environment.

Requirements of The Role:

  • It is a requirement of this role that you have experience working with palliative care and/or Hold a Level 2 NVQ (or above) in health and social care.
  • It is a requirement of the role that you hold a full UK driving license
