We're a creative agency spread across eight acres of countryside in Cheshire, and yes, we also have a pub, bistro, and gym all on-site. McCann Manchester is a big family - the largest integrated agency in the UK.

We collaborate with some of the UK's most interesting brands and we are in search of a Senior Account Manager to join us. Armbands optional.

The Responsibilities as Senior Account Manager...

You'll work on a major retail client, assisting in delivering fully integrated campaigns including sports sponsorship, activations, partnerships, press, POS, and OOH. With the backing of a small, talented team, you'll be able to utilize your strategic planning skills, campaign delivery expertise, and client-facing charm. Your duties will include:

  • Act as the day-to-day contact for the client, managing all jobs through agency systems and procedures.
  • Develop accurate and engaging briefs and schedule jobs to ensure timely and budget-compliant delivery.
  • Establish effective working relationships with all key departments, keeping them informed and aligning work with client requirements.
  • Evaluate creative ideas for factual accuracy and relevance to the brief.
  • Ensure all creative work is approved, proofread, and includes all mandatory requirements before leaving the agency.
  • Supervise junior colleagues on projects, managing their workload to collectively deliver for the agency.

Qualifications as Senior Account Manager...

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Prior agency experience as a Senior Account Manager working on fully integrated campaigns. Experience in sponsorship, press, and POS would be beneficial.
  • Strong communication skills – both written and verbal.
  • Highly developed organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Experience handling large work volumes and meeting tight, fast deadlines.
