LaSalle's Investment Management's Value-Add Investments team (the "VA Team") is a specialist business which invests client capital into pure and structured real estate equity investments across Europe, covering a broad spectrum of asset classes both directly, and via strategic relationships with operating partners (across residential, retail, hospitality, office, and a variety of other niche sectors).

Recent hires to build up the VA Team include the new Head of Debt and Value-Add, who was previously at Blackstone and Goldman Sachs, and the new Head of Value-Add who was previously at Meyer Bergman and founded Jackyl.

The VA Team currently has invested almost c.£0.5b of equity in value-add strategies across Europe and the UK across the LaVA II and SSIIV funds and is looking to raise a flagship value-add fund in 2024, targeting €1bn of equity.

Debt Investments


LaSalle's Investment Management's Debt Investment team (the "Debt Team") are a specialist business which invests fund capital into structured real estate debt investments across Europe.

The Debt Team's investment products include mezzanine, levered whole loans, development, and senior debt investments.

The Debt Team was set up in 2010 and has become one the largest providers of alternative finance on commercial real estate in Europe, having invested €6bn in c.100 transactions as of Q The Debt Team successfully raised €6.2bn of capital since 2010 across its senior secured, high-yield, and development investment vehicles.

The Debt Team is actively exploring new opportunities and investment strategies that complement the platform's existing investment vehicles.

Role:

Accountabilities:


Involvement in new deal underwriting, financial modelling, structuring and completion mechanics, as well as supporting the team with negotiation and execution of legal documentation.


Preparation of internal investment committee materials and external client presentations on new deals and topics related to investment management workstreams.

Liaison and coordination with internal LaSalle departments and external counterparties (e.g. operating partners, due diligence advisors etc) on both new deal execution and investment management workstreams.


Provision of support to the team and other internal LaSalle departments on investment management workstreams pertaining to existing AUM (including financial modelling, buy/hold/sell analysis, financing processes and performance monitoring).
