Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust is opening a brand new CAMHS Tier 4 Day Hospital in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire.

Are you interested in working in a new innovative service delivering Tier 4 hospital intervention as a day service with no overnight patients?

Are you keen to lead and develop highly motivated and passionate colleagues?


A new and exciting opportunity has become available for a Modern Matron to play a key role in developing this new service to meet the needs of young people with a variety of mental health conditions, including eating disorders.


Whilst waiting for the Day Hospital to open we will encourage staff to spend time in different parts of the service across the Provider Collaborative including inpatients, day care and Hospital at Home.

This role will include ensuring:

Front-line leadership, professional nursing leadership and support across the multidisciplinary team (MDT) in developing this new service.

Promote excellent nursing practice.

All young people accepted into the service will follow a structured programme including multidisciplinary therapeutic interventions and education.


Close working with the young people, families and carers and, collaborative working with the multidisciplinary team, community CAMHS, social care and other relevant services.


This post offers a great opportunity to grow your service development skills and to lead a brand new team in setting up the new service with senior colleagues.
