We have a new vacancy as a Pharmacy Dispenser/ Counter Assistant in our busy Day Lewis Nailsea Towerhouse, we are looking for someone to cover 40 hours per week our opening hours are: Monday 8am-6pm Tuesday 8am-6pm Wednesday 8am-6pm Thursday8am-6pm Friday 8am-6pm Saturday 9am-1pm Sunday Closed.


Shift patterns (agreed by the line manager and agreed with you before start date) Alternate Saturdays will be included in your rota.

Interviews can either be held via Microsoft teams or in the Pharmacy. If successful for an interview, please bring or have your passport and proof of national insurance e.g. previous payslip with your name on it and proof of NI number.


You will need to have a minimum experience of Medicine Counter Assistant qualification - Dispenser qualification, be a registered Technician / ACPT desired.

This branch has an experienced team to learn from and experienced teams lead by an Assistant Manager.

Your Role will include:

  • Reporting directly to the Assistant Manager and Pharmacist, your support is vital to the team in the provision of advanced and enhanced services.
  • Assist the Pharmacist in developing the pharmacy business by ensuring the dispensary and retail area delivers a superb level of customer service and operates effectively with regards to company policies and procedures.
  • You will be an integral part of a hardworking and compact team.
  • Developing relationships with patients and healthcare providers to ensure that we deliver the most effective and patient friendly customer service.
  • Team work is a vital element of this family owned chain which seeks to reward, recognize and empower hard workers.
  • You will be required to work across the Pharmacy Counter and the Dispensary.
