We are looking for a well-spoken telesales representative to be responsible for generating and administering sales over the telephone.

The telesales representative's responsibilities include contacting potential customers, focusing on customer needs to close sales, and documenting customer information, purchases, and feedback.


Key duties are as below:

  • Initiating sales with potential customers over the phone.
  • Asking questions to engage customers and keep the conversation going.
  • Listening to the customers' needs to generate repeat sales.
  • Gathering and documenting customer information, payment methods, purchases, and reactions to products.
  • Keeping up to date on all products and informing new and existing customers of new products.
  • Answering customers' questions on the products.
  • Meeting sales targets.
  • Receiving and processing purchase orders.
  • Verifying orders, including customers' personal information and payment details.
  • Maintaining and updating sales and customer records.
  • Compiling monthly sales reports.
  • Directing feedback from customers to relevant departments.
  • Identifying new products to add to those on offer.
  • Supporting the sales department with other administrative tasks, if requested.

Telesales Representative Requirements:

  • Excellent written and communication skills.
  • Creative thinking skills.
  • The patience and ability to engage customers in conversation.
  • Good sales ability.
  • Proficiency with word processing and spreadsheet software.
  • Excellent interpersonal and problemsolving skills.
  • The ability to handle rejection and stress in soliciting customers.
  • Previous experience in sales administration, preferred.
  • Familiarity with sales reports and sales records.
  • Ability to speak Welsh would be beneficial.

Package:

Salary £23,500 paid monthly (based on 8.00am till 5pm Monday to Friday)

Commission based on targets (to be agreed):

  • Minimum number of outbound calls per day
  • Number of new accounts/customers per month
  • Value of sales (quarterly)
  • Upselling/cross selling across group services/products
