What we are looking for:

  • Minimum experience in procurement.
  • Currently pursuing MCIPS qualification.
  • Experience handling low value tenders.
  • Experience in procurement within a large organization.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in IT, including Microsoft Office applications and specialized procurement systems.

For this position, we require demonstrated experience in procurement, providing guidance to both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring cost-effectiveness, and legal compliance.

You will be responsible for clear communication, strict adherence to Peabody procurement guidelines, procedures, and policies, and providing assistance and advice on procurement-related matters.

As a Procurement Officer, some of the key responsibilities include:

  • Tracking savings and efficiencies.
  • Ensuring projects are delivered within specified timelines.
  • Offering training and support to the business.
  • Maintaining an excellent understanding of relevant markets.
A minimum of 1-2 office days per week is required for this role.
