South Central Ambulance Service Resilience and Specialist Operations Department have an exciting opportunity for a Resilience Officer (SORT Instructor).


Based at Thatcham (Berkshire), you will be part of a team of trainersto develop the SORT uplift capability across SCAS.

The Resilience Officers are responsible for facilitation of specialist training programmes and assessments which meet organisational and national needs. The post holders will provide the ongoing delivery of relevant specialist advanced training, to ensure staff maintain their level of competence and fitness to be able respond to high threat incidents in line with national contract standards


The role is a unique one which focusses on building and sustaining our relationships with partner organisations, such as Fire & Rescue Services and Police Services, with designing, developing and delivering multi-agency training.

There will be a requirement to work with Acute NHS Trusts in the delivery of CBRN training and auditing against EPRR standards.

We have both full and part time vacancies available.
