About the Job:

Our client, a prominent organization specializing in automotive product and system innovation, is looking for an Electrical Specialist to take the lead on Edrive, power electronics, and battery systems. The role involves supporting the development of niche EVs across various vehicle platforms.

The position is based at the Innovation Centre in Warwick, focusing on providing transportation solutions, particularly in future technologies.

Responsibilities as Edrive Lead Engineer:
  • Oversee Edrive and associated systems to optimize time and achieve program and quality targets in new product development.
  • Contribute recommendations to the Senior Leadership Team, ensuring project requirements are met through technical expertise and collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Provide technical leadership by working with engineering teams, suppliers, and senior management to deliver objectives within timelines and budgets.
  • Resolve technical issues promptly and escalate unresolved matters to the SLT for guidance or decisions.

Requirements for the Role:
  • Hold an Engineering Degree or equivalent with senior management experience in automotive project delivery.
  • Demonstrated expertise in Edrives, power electronics, and battery systems within the automotive sector.
  • High self-motivation with strong planning and goal delivery skills, including managing budgets under resource limitations and pressure.
  • Eligible to work in the UK without restrictions.
