Who are we looking for?

An exceptional Front of House team player, to work alongside our Team Leaders to manage the flow of the shift, greeting and seating customers and managing the Resdiary bookings system.


  • Experience in a busy hospitality setting
  • A friendly and confident demeanour
  • Exemplary customer service
  • Be ready to roll their sleeves up and get involved; a handson attitude leading by example
  • Exceptional eye for detail
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience using Resdiary or a similar online booking system would be an advantage

Main roles and responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service at all times.
  • Representing an excellent first impression of The Briny and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for customers is created and maintained
  • Taking and managing reservations either in person, over the phone or online, in conjunction with company policies and Resdiary
  • Managing customer flow and cover count in line with Resdiary configuration
  • Providing waiting times and alternative seating options for walkins or customers' tables that are not yet ready
  • Tending to reservation notes and communicating special requests
  • Providing personalised service and assistance for large groups and VIPs
  • Clearing and relaying tables
  • Contributing to positive team morale
  • Remaining calm, collected and professional
