Our customer is looking for a skilled QHSE Officer for a 12-month contract in Grangemouth. The role includes supporting all departments to ensure a safe, healthy workplace.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

  • NEBOSH diploma or equivalent H&S qualification
  • Internal auditor qualification
  • Knowledge of ISO Standards
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • UK Driving License with own transport
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to manage stakeholders
  • Attention to detail

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Regular site visits
  • Support in producing Risk Assessments and Method Statements
  • Evaluate operator competence for safety
  • Conduct audits for process improvement
  • Provide safety training and toolbox talks
  • Lead HSE meetings
  • Monitor QHSE performance
  • Ensure compliance with ISO standards and legislation
  • Investigate accidents and incidents
  • Manage customer and supplier assessments
  • Conduct internal audits for compliance
  • Liaise with stakeholders when needed
  • Contribute to company's HSEQ improvement
  • Guidance on statutory compliance
  • Stay updated on industry practices
