Ty Gwyn Pets are looking for a friendly, motivated animal care professional to join their team in North Wales.


Ty Gwyn is one of North Wales' leading pet care company, having won Best Pet Boarding Facility in North Wales for two years in a row.

What helps to make Ty Gwyn so great is their wonderful team, and they are looking for 1-2 new members to join


Ty Gwyn comprises of dog, cat and small animal boarding, a doggy daycare, a pet shop and a grooming salon.

The role will vary across all aspects of the company, so a versatile, 'can-do' attitude is essential.

The job includes a lot of outdoor work in all weather conditions, and involves cleaning out dog and cat units, feeding all animals, supervising playtimes, bathing animals, serving customers in the shop, taking orders and bookings, answering the phone and adminstering medications.

We have one vacancy available, and we are flexible on hours.

Ideally, we are looking for someone who would like around 30 hours a week and is prepared to work some weekends.

Typically, our shifts are 8am-6pm seven days a week, with full-time employees usually working four out of seven days but this isn't essential, we are happy to offer part-time hours.


Other desirable traits include:

Previous experience working with animals (or in another outdoor setting), canine/feline first-aid qualification (we can fund this if you don't already have it), customer service experience.
