My client, a reputable, specialist business based in Thatcham, is seeking a Vehicle Support Advisor to join their motivated team, offering the best software and tools to allow the successful person to hit the ground running.

Working hours are 08:00 - 18:00 Monday to Friday, with excellent benefits included

What are the key duties?

  • Overseeing reception and supporting with meeting and greeting customers.
  • Responding to customer queries, providing information, and sending detailed estimates.
  • Communicating with technicians and customers and making appropriate advisories through detailed explanations.
  • Selling work to customers to ensure they keep their cars road safe and prevent breakdowns or increased bills.
  • Maintaining all customer notes within the company IT software.
  • Forward planning and suggesting improvements across the business.

What are they looking for?

  • Previous experience working within the motor trade will be essential, ideally working as a technician or advisor.
  • Friendly and personable customer service approach, with a passion to maintain and exceed company performance and reputation.
  • Eager to continue professional development and undertaking training.
  • Excellent communication skills, both facetoface and over the phone.
  • Stock management/supplier liaison experience and strong coordination skills.
  • Good working understanding of technical motor maintenance process and customer management.
