Main Responsibilities:
- Provide care for children staying at The Ark and those visiting for day care
- Support children in their family homes and community settings
About Noah's Ark Children's Hospice:
Opened in 2019, The Ark is a family-centric facility offering specialized care and nursing services for babies, children, and young people with comprehensive clinical, emotional, social, and practical support. Our goal is to create a safe space where children facing serious illnesses can be themselves, play, explore, express, and develop confidence.
Recognized as 'Outstanding' by the Care Quality Commission, our charity has experienced significant growth and is now seeking top-tier employees to contribute to our continued success.
Our expert team and volunteers deliver tailored support to families across North and Central London and Herts Valley, adapting to each child's needs and providing care in various settings.
Requirements:
- Registered Sick Children Nurse or Registered Nurse Child Branch
- Minimum of 2 years post-registration experience, including working with children with complex medical needs
- Palliative care experience with children facing life-threatening conditions
- Experience in team nursing management and leadership
Desired Skills/Experience:
- Experience with children requiring long-term ventilation
- Proficiency in intravenous line care and therapies
