The Berkshire Cancer Centre is seeking to recruit a SACT ANP to join their developing ANP team.

The applicant will be a qualified ANP, however, there is an opportunity for appropriately experienced nurses to join the team as a trainee, and applications will be considered from those with relevant experience and a desire to undertake the ANP training.

Main duties of the job Support the SACT nursing team to deliver treatments on the day units, by providing clinical expertise and support.

Be responsible for assessingfitness for treatment and formulating management plans for patients - and alsowork as part of the non-medical prescribing team in the oral SACT clinics.

Play an integral role in the strategic development of SACT services, including supporting the expansion of the non-medical prescribing clinics and oncology triage services.

Work in partnership with nursing and medical staff, have sound clinical knowledge and highly developed clinical decision-making skills in all aspects of oncology care.
