He/she is responsible for ensuring that all essential Planning activities are concluded in a timely manner and priorities are clearly adhered to.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Organise and oversee the work package creation for the aircraft inputs, planning from start to finish and ensuring clear identification of responsibilities throughout the business.
- Scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance work package build/assembly including milestones, resource and critical path planning.
- Generation of Preload equipment summary reports including tooling, parts and material callups.
- Identification of work content requiring the services of external agencies and subcontractors
- Detailed review of work content including the identification of complex, safety critical, critical path and any other tasks requiring additional regulatory requirements.
- Attend and Chair meetings to provide Pre input meeting aircraft status updates or similar.
- Work with the Planning, Logistics & Stores Manager to ensure accuracy in Exeter Aerospace's maintenance plan and slot allocation.
- Ensure the Document Control function is maintained for all inputs.
- Improve work processes/highlight any issues to the Planning, Logistics & Stores Manager if unable to rectify by self.
- Train/Mentor new starters to ensure they are able to fulfil their duties and regulatory requirements.
CORE COMPETENCIES:
- Ability to perform under pressure and be a selfstarter.
- Excellent organizational ability with high level attention to detail and logical approach to task sequencing.
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills, including strong interpersonal skills with a focus on collaboration.
- Experience in using aircraft technical documentation to plan aircraft maintenance with task and ground time estimation.
- Previous Planning experience, with base or line.
- Ability to review tasks to ensure they are adequately planned.
- Ability to converse with all levels of seniority including Customers both internal and external.
- An appreciation of Planning requirements and techniques.
- Willingness to embrace change and to drive improvements within the business.
- Ambitious, agile, and honest individual committed to team work and excellence.
- Fluent in English (written & spoken). Must have the right to live and work in the UK
