Playworker at Simply Out Of School Cowbridge.

Venue - Y Bont Faen Primary school, Borough Close, Cowbridge, Cf71 7BN

Hours of work:
Tuesday - Thursday (term time only)

14.45pm pm

9 hours per week

*Help with the day-to-day running of the after school club

*Liaise with Management daily

*Liaise with the school daily and create a positive working relationship

*Handle and manage cash payments

  • Assisting with the daytoday running of the After School Club, including setting up and clearing up.
  • Preparing snack, drinks and tea in line with club's Healthy Eating Policy.
  • Supervising play opportunities with children.
  • Contributing towards planning and preparation of craft activities and assisting children with these.
*Ensuring the children have a fun, enjoyable and exciting experience in club.

Qualifications:

A level 2 or 3 is preferable but willingness to complete this is also considered**Current First Aid and Food Hygiene Certificates an advantage.


Experience:

Experience with children age preferred and experience of play work a definite advantage.

Rate of pay:

  • TBC_ per hour, dependent on qualifications and experience.
Two references will be required at interview stage.

A full CV (with no time gaps) is required

From £10.50 per hour
