WHAT TO EXPECT

This role supports the delivery of the electrical rigs and the prove out of the electrical hardware and software for the JLR vehicles.

The individual will work with the Lead Engineer, Rigs Delivery, wider EE Operations team and EE Operations customers to ensure the compatibility of parts for the electrical rigs for the development of software and hardware, assist in keeping the rigs up-to-date and support rig parts availability issues.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

● Reviewing of the rig Bill Of Materials (BOM) following agreement for compatibility of systems.
● Liaising with Planning Engineer and customers to determine requirements for rigs.
● Liaising with the Engineering teams to monitor their parts levels.
● Creating Connector BOM lists for rigs and working with procurement to source parts.
● Monitoring BOMs throughout the program, identifying any upgrades and sourcing them for the rigs.
● Working with the EE Operations team to deliver the rigs for customers.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

● Experience of using a logistics data base (does not need to be automotive)
● Co ordinating, planning or project management experience.
● Ideally, a working knowledge of GPIRS, WERS, SAP
● An understanding of automotive testing and components would be ideal.
● Competent IT skills, especially MS Excel & Word.
● An excellent communicator, with strong influencing and engagement capabilities.
● Ideally full UK Driving Licence
