As Early Careers Specialist you'll be a key member of the Talent Management & Employee Experience team for the UK & Lloyds, responsible for managing early careers activity in the UK including apprenticeships, work experience and internships. You'll also be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with vendors and key stakeholders in the business and ensuring that our early careers hires get the most out of their experience with AXA XL.

You'll support the execution of our early careers strategy and action plans, driving clear and consistent communication, ensuring that actions taken to enhance our early careers offering in the UK are effective, efficient and aligned. You'll work closely with a range of internal stakeholders and resource groups across the business, as well as external vendors and the wider Talent team.

What will your essential responsibilities include?

·Responsible for driving and delivering our early careers solution by implementing and managing apprenticeship schemes across AXA XL UK.

·Manage the Internship programmes across AXA XL UK, partnering with external vendors, key stakeholders in the business, and the Learning and Development team to deliver the programmes.

·Partner with key stakeholders in the business to coordinate work experience activity through multiple partnerships, providing guidance to managers and ensuring a great experience for students.

·Contribute to our Diversity, Equity & Inclusion goals in the UK by building DE&I into our Early Careers proposition.

·Maintain apprenticeship provider relationships and active apprentices within the business, whilst providing internal support when required.

·Manage requests from the business to utilize the apprenticeship levy for qualifications outside the apprenticeship program and provide support for colleagues completing a qualification.

·Partner closely with our local Learning & Development team to create valuable learning experiences and ongoing development plans for all early careers colleagues.

·Partner closely with our local Talent Acquisition team on early careers attraction and selection strategies, as well as providing onboarding support for early careers hires and their managers.

·Manage relationships with external vendors, partner organizations and internal stakeholders.

·Collaborate with marketing and communications colleagues and leverage available communication channels to build awareness of our early careers offerings, increase transparency around the process, and celebrate successes and impact within AXA XL UK.

·Implement strategies to help us gather data and feedback from managers and candidates on our early careers offering, to measure impact and enable us to continuously improve.

You will report to the Head of Talent Management and Employee Experience, UK.

We're looking for someone who has these abilities and skills:

·Demonstrated experience designing and implementing early careers programs in the UK, including apprenticeships.

·Experience of working with apprenticeship providers and an understanding of the UK apprenticeship levy.

·Effective understanding of external trends and current research in the early careers space.

·Passionate about inclusion and diversity and creating exceptional experiences for colleagues on early careers programs at AXA XL.

·Track record of flawless execution and an ability to multi-task in a fast paced, deadline oriented, high-demand environment with tight deliverables.

·Robust collaboration; inclusive of others with a proactive approach to building and maintaining relationships.

·Robust verbal and written communication skills, able to adapt messaging to a range of audiences.

·Multi-cultural sensitivity; able to handle sensitive information with sound judgement, discretion and confidentiality.

·Intellectually curious, committed to continuous learning.

·Detail oriented an efficient; Personal accountability and ownership.
