Year 4 Teaching Assistant for one of our client

Primary schools in South East London. The school is looking for someone who can start

immediately and has experience working with individuals and small groups of children.

About the Teaching Assistant role:

  • You will be working closely with the class teacher in Year 6 to motivate and encourage students to reach their full potential.
  • Supporting children with special educational needs
  • Individual support should be provided to students in small groups to ensure learning is taking place
  • Have previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant.
  • Support pupils who have special educational needs
  • Have a basic understanding of childhood development and steps to support children of various ages
  • Be helping pupils to increase their confidence and selfesteem by listening to them and devising appropriate strategies.
  • Have Good communication and interpersonal skills.
