We are on the lookout for a Goods In / Material Handler to join a very well-established company based in Ware.
The Goods In / Material Handler will work as part of the production team with goods in, stock control and material handling duties, all in a compliant manner.
Book in & locate stock arriving at Goods inwards.
Liaise between departments, prioritising urgent items.
To assist in packing, loading, labelling of finished goods in preparation of despatch.
To load/unload vehicles in a safe manner.
Interface between stock supply and compounders.
To refill intermediate or raw material containers.
Input any improvements to supply process.
Assist in robot maintenance.
Ensure stock levels are maintained.
Update labelling requirements for stock materials.
To complete Air/Road and Sea qualification to Dangerous Goods level.
Attention to detail and accurate record keeping.
Observing & reporting all H&S requirements / issues.
Undertake training consistent with developing skills relevant to those duties and responsibilities of the role
The successful candidate will need:
Current Fork Lift counterbalance license.
Qualified to Dangerous Goods level.
Microsoft basic suite i.e. Excel/Word.
Shifts: 6am - 2pm & 2pm - 10pm (alternating).
