Job Opportunity:
We are currently seeking an experienced and senior Demand Manager to join our Central Functions Supply Chain team in Worksop.
- Role Purpose:
- Provide leadership and guidance to a team in charge of short-term Demand Planning for the majority of UK supermarkets, focusing on accuracy and adapting to evolving consumer demands.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the short-term Demand Planning process to ensure precise forecasting while collaborating with Commercial and Operational teams.
- Supervise and nurture your team to aid their development and achievement of supply chain metrics and business objectives.
- Monitor and analyze customer KPIs to enhance sales and availability, aligning with customers to balance waste and efficiency.
- Ensure consistency and harmony within the Demand Planning team by working closely with other Demand Managers to streamline processes.
- Identify areas for improvement to enhance performance, drive growth, and optimize long-term outcomes.
- Requirements:
- Ideally, hold a degree qualification.
- Demonstrated track record in managing supply/demand processes.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, both internally and externally, with experience in customer interactions.
- Background in a fast-paced, dynamic, growing industry or business.
- Proven leadership traits, self-driven, statistical knowledge, and adept problem-solving abilities.
