Professional Indemnity Lawyer - Manchester - Hybrid - Defendant - Up to £87k - 5+ PQE

I am currently working with a Top 40 UK law firm who are looking to strengthen their Tier 1 Legal 500 team in Manchester.


The Role:

  • Management of cases with limited supervision
  • Assisting the partners with their caseload
  • Preparing detailed and technical reports, correspondence and court documents
  • Advising clients in relation to issues of liability and coverage
  • Liaising with insurer and insured clients, experts, witnesses, counsel and other parties
  • Delegating to and developing junior members of the team
  • At least 5 Years' PQE or equivalent
  • Experience of insurance litigation and policy coverage is
    _essential_:
  • Experience of professional risk claims relating to solicitors and barristers is
    _essential_:
  • Understanding of commercial insurance policies, the insurance market, reporting arrangements, reserving philosophies, and the relationship between brokers, underwrites/insurers and lawyers is **_essential_
