We are based in Birmingham and our property portfolio covers the whole of the West Midlands.

Already we are known to major charities and probation services as we have been working alongside them to provide clean housing and professional support.

We have internet in many of our properties for our tenants. Also alongside food bank vouchers on a weekly basis, we also deliver food parcels weekly.

We are known to go the extra mile with our tenants as we believe we are not just a company but a family.

Together we aim for our tenants to achieve the goals they set out when they first move into one of our properties.

£130 Monthly Fuel allowance Tax Free
PERFORMANCE BONUS OF £100 FOR THE EMPLOYEE OF THE MONTH.

YOUR MAIN DUTIES WILL BE AS FOLLOWS:

  • To provide support to people on a one to one basis in their shared accommodation and in the local community, in accordance with the agreed support plan.
  • To provide support and assist in daily living skills e.g. personal finances, healthy eating, building relationships, employment, safety in the home etc
  • To support service users to maintain a lifestyle which reflects their personal preferences. To support service users to access educational, sport and a variety of social opportunities.
  • To ensure service users have maximum input with the implementation of their support plan.
  • To work according to agreed support plans for the benefit of each individual.
  • To liaise professionally with external agencies and family members.
  • To safeguard service users from danger harm and abuse.
  • To report and document any concerns you may have about service user's health and wellbeing.
  • To document and report all untoward occurrences to your immediate manager.
  • To support service users to become active members of their local and wider community.
  • To support service users to attend Medical Health Appointments.
  • To support service users to build on and improve all aspects of their daily living skills.
  • Helping to assist service users in the management of their personal finances, including budgeting, making transactions and saving.
  • To attend and be an active participant in team meetings.
  • To attend scheduled training when required.
  • To perform other duties that may be required from time to time by your manager.
  • To have a responsibility to your own and others health and safety whilst at work.
  • Carrying out individual risk assessments to ensure any risks are identified and referrals to support agencies made if necessary
  • Regular welfare checks to ensure safety and wellbeing of tenants.
  • Assistance in sustaining all aspects of the tenancy
  • Signposting and accessing support from other services e.g. budgeting support; assistance with debt management from voluntary agencies; accessing support to assist with alcohol/substance related matters.
  • Increased inspections and maintenance of the building, including health and safety issues, to address increased wear and tear to the property and facilities
  • Advice and assistance on using equipment within the property
  • Advice and assistance regarding security of the tenants' home
  • Monitoring and signposting for social services care services
  • Arranging repairs to communal areas, including fixtures and fittings

From £11.44 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
