The role

We are seeking a Machinery Practice Leader to join our agriculture team to be the face of Machinery for Kynetec, both inside and outside the company – the successful candidate will be responsible for building relations and interactions with senior decision makers and influencers in the industry to identify the best route to serve this field

Key Responsibilities:

Accountable for the design and execution of a new Practice. Includes, identify and (where appropriate, integrate, buy or build) a portfolio of solutions for existing and new Machinery clients' sales and client success.

Identify and build a team of high performing individuals dedicated to (or primarily focused on) sustainable profitable growth of the Machinery Practice leveraging the principles of Kynetec's Commercial Excellence programme (delineation of project managers, client success and commercial, where appropriate).

Securing the execution of Subscription and Customer Insight projects for ag machinery clients, ensuring their alignment to market needs.

Responsible for the management of Fieldwork Operations and Project teams, securing their productivity and efficiency.

Keeping coordination and interaction of teams (sales, production, etc.)

Managing sales administrative tasks

Liaison with Marketing to bring sales led campaigns and thought leadership

Maintaining control of the Machinery budget, both costs and sales.

Skills and experience required

  • Graduated university student of Agronomy, Agricultural Economy, Agricultural Production Technician, Statistics, Economy, Data Analytics or similar.
  • Years of experience: 8+ years senior level. Strong ag machinery expertise.
  • Capability to manage different tasks and work with deadlines.
  • Knowledge of Kynetec Customer Research client's portfolio, ideally
  • Strong leadership skills, leading by example.
  • Proactive and result driven.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Conflict management and problem-solving capability.
  • Integrity and trust.
