To ensure all deliveries are checked and scanned correctly.

To make sure the consignments are of a high standard and available for dispatch in a timely manner to contribute towards the smooth running of the overall Panther network, leading to a great customer experience.


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Supporting the Warehouse Shift Manager to develop and implement new processes and technology to ensure the most efficient and accurate work ethic.
  • Communicate with other team leaders both on shift and other shifts to share resources throughout the day and perform effect handovers of the areas at the beginning and end of shifts.
  • Quality inspect products to ensure a high level of compliance from our suppliers
  • Continuously look for ways to improve our service offering and generate ideas.
  • Always encourage a culture of high professionalism.
  • Monitoring and managing workflows accessing and understanding KPI's to ensure quality of work and business goals are achieved.
  • Ensuring adequate coverage to achieve KPI targets through real time information, dynamic movement of resource and effective resource planning.
  • Ensure that the area of the warehouse that you are overseeing is run effectively and all desired tasks are completed in the allocated time frame.
  • Identify any training skills gaps within your team and conduct or arrange training.
  • Conduct coaching sessions, 11s & PDR with the team.
  • Identify and manage any performance issues.
  • Conduct daily brief with the team to ensure a good understanding of daily tasks and responsibilities.
  • Disciplinary procedures
  • Create, promote, and maintain strong partnerships with relevant areas across the business to share best practice for common benefits.
  • Awareness and address trends that may cause potential issues.
  • Resolve escalated complaints.
