About the role:

  • This is a twoyear temporary contract suitable for a graduate, based at Great Lakes' office at 10 Fenchurch Avenue, London working on a hybrid working model. You will support and report into the Product Governance Manager and the Wordings Manager with the oversight of our products to ensure that they adhere to the respective regulatory frameworks and that the contracts are following the requirements of the jurisdiction and internal guidelines of our European portfolio._

Responsibilities:

  • Your role in the Underwriting & Product Team will involve assisting other team members with their tasks, including the following:_
- _ To support the team in implementing, embedding and managing activities about product governance, the Consumer Duty and EIOPA Conduct Risk_
- _ Assist the Product Governance Manager in organising the review team and schedule for reviews, managing the in-house resources effectively. Support the team in providing the written report and the feedback to the stakeholders arising from the review, document the feedback and monitor the outcomes of the review, ensuring that recommendations are achieved within the timeframes._
- _ Aid the Product Governance Manager in the oversight of the agent financial promotions process._
- _ Assist the wordings manager in wording development and control, working with key stakeholders to build new insurance products or refine or expand existing products, with a focus on MGA Business, ensuring our wordings are robust while being easily understood by our customers and reflect the appropriate coverage intent during product design._
- _ Maintain and improve the wording oversight checklists and processes in cooperation with the wording manager_
- _ Support the Wordings Manager with ensuring that the current wordings used by our stakeholders are kept up to date in our central repository._
- _ Support 'business as usual' activities for the Underwriting and Product Team_

Qualifications and Educational Requirements:

  • Degree in law and/or European language preferred (German an advantage) or equivalent qualifiers_
