REPORTS TO:

  • Production Support Manager

Job Purpose:

  • To operate lifting equipment in the extrusion department, enabling the smooth running of the packaging area.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Ensure that finished product is presented to a high standard and ready to be shipped to the warehouse.
  • Carry out stock checks on finished product ensuring that all paperwork is completed
  • Ensure that finished products are booked out on the system
  • Drive FLT to transport finished product from production departments to warehouse area
  • Stock checks of all purchased products that is required for the extrusion packaging area
  • Drive FLT to unload and put away purchased product needed for the extrusion packaging area
  • Always maintain high standard of housekeeping
  • Drive FLT to carry out any other duties required, emptying skips, unloading etc
  • Any other duties required by the Manager

Key Experiences:

  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
Ability to work both under supervision of others and own supervision

Desirables Skills, Qualifications and Experience Required:

  • Work in a similar manufacturing environment
  • Ability to drive combitruck / counterbalance FLTs (Training will be provided)
