General requirements:

  • Be able to work well in a team
  • Preferably some sort of trade mark experience at a previous firm
  • Outstanding written English and grammar
  • Ambitious and always looking to provide the best possible customer service
  • Able to work well in a fastpaced environment, with a keen eye for detail, and a proactive approach to tasks
  • Understanding of UKIPO, EUIPO, and WIPO is important
  • CITMA Paralegal qualification would be a bonus but not essential

Responsibilities:

  • Working closely with clients and giving them excellent service
  • Handling, reviewing, and interpreting correspondence from trade mark registries and overseas lawyers, including docketing of any important deadlines
  • Engaging with other paralegal staff
  • Diary management
  • Assist in responding to client queries
