London South Bank Technical College is focussed on providing an employer-led curriculum for young people and adults from level 2 through to level 4. We are looking to appoint exceptional staff who are ambitious for our students and can ensure that the curriculum offer is unique in its design, delivery and impact.

We are looking to recruit a Lecturer in IT to teach full-time who will teach on T level in Digital Business Services, Level 2 and 3 IT programmes ensuring students succeed on a one or two-year programme of study.

The successful candidate will work as part of a team at the college to ensure they provide high quality support to staff and students.

The postholder will also ensure the curriculum is up to industry standard.

Skills & Experience

  • The successful candidate must have experience of planning and developing curriculum programmes within their subject discipline, with good communication and organisational skills.
  • Ideally, teaching experience is also required, together with evidence of continuous professional development. The candidate will have knowledge and experience of the IT curriculum and be willing to work extensively with employers.
  • A degree, or equivalent professional qualification, is required for this post, as well as a recognised teaching qualification (Diploma in Teaching in the Lifelong Learning Sector (DTLLS) or equivalent) with Level 5 subject specialism.
  • A Literacy/English, ICT and a Numeracy/Maths qualification at Level 2 are also required.
