Veterinary Receptionist, Northwich Vets, Cheshire.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our front of house team here at Northwich vets.
The role will need to suit a confident, caring and highly efficient person who can work in a fast-paced environment and enjoys communicating with clients and colleagues.
Responsibilities of job include:
- Greeting our clients and their pets, always maintaining a professional and compassionate approach.
- Happy in handling difficult conversations
- Using our practice management system to arrive patients and book appointments.
- Confidence in diary management.
- Answering a high volume of incoming telephone calls, being the first point of contact when dealing with stressed and/or upset clients, dealing with the issues in a timely and compassionate manner.
- Taking payments inhouse and over the telephone.
- Discussing healthcare plans and general enquiries through out the day, allocating appropriately.
- Ensure waiting rooms are always maintained to a high standard of clinical cleanliness and kept inviting and fresh.
- Handling and dispensing medication (Once vet has dispensed with instructions) handing out to clients and answering any questions when needed.
- Welcoming and friendly manner.
- Must be enthusiastic and selfmotivated.
- Experience working front of house or in a similar role would be beneficial.
- Enjoys human interactions.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to multitask.
- IT literate.
- Works well in a team.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fastpaced environment.
- Positive personality.

- 4.5 weeks holiday allowance (based on above hours) which increases with time of service.
