An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our front of house team here at Northwich vets.

The role will need to suit a confident, caring and highly efficient person who can work in a fast-paced environment and enjoys communicating with clients and colleagues.


Responsibilities of job include:

  • Greeting our clients and their pets, always maintaining a professional and compassionate approach.
  • Happy in handling difficult conversations
  • Using our practice management system to arrive patients and book appointments.
  • Confidence in diary management.
  • Answering a high volume of incoming telephone calls, being the first point of contact when dealing with stressed and/or upset clients, dealing with the issues in a timely and compassionate manner.
  • Taking payments inhouse and over the telephone.
  • Discussing healthcare plans and general enquiries through out the day, allocating appropriately.
  • Ensure waiting rooms are always maintained to a high standard of clinical cleanliness and kept inviting and fresh.
  • Handling and dispensing medication (Once vet has dispensed with instructions) handing out to clients and answering any questions when needed.
  • Welcoming and friendly manner.
  • Must be enthusiastic and selfmotivated.
  • Experience working front of house or in a similar role would be beneficial.
  • Enjoys human interactions.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to multitask.
  • IT literate.
  • Works well in a team.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fastpaced environment.
  • Positive personality.

The role specifics are as follows:

  • 4.5 weeks holiday allowance (based on above hours) which increases with time of service.
