Are you looking to ride a Segway and get paid for it?

We provide Segway Experiences to customers at locations nationwide from Tatton Park in Cheshire to Battersea Park in London through the brand Segway Events.

We are looking for great people to join our existing event crew based out of South Yorkshire who travel to setup events and deliver Segway experiences to customers.

So, if you are adventurous, outgoing, like working in the outdoors and enjoy talking to people then we'd love to hear from you.

Full training will be given for each role which include:

• Instructor
• teaching people to ride a Segway
• Merchandise photo and video sales
• Registration signing people in for their experiences and briefing them

The role is suited to outgoing people who enjoy talking to others and you will undertake a full and comprehensive training programme whilst working alongside the existing crew.

Event crew are responsible for setting up and checking equipment as well as delivering safe and positive experiences for customers.

Our customers have often been given their Segway experience as a gift so are looking to have fun and enjoy themselves as part of a day out, therefore we are looking for enthusiastic individuals with strong customer service skills who are confident speaking to small groups and would enjoy giving instruction on how to ride a Segway.

The current event crew are all hard working and don't mind long hours, they are responsible people who have a "can-do" attitude yet know how to have fun together and interact with customers.

A driving licence and your own transport can be really helpful so make sure that this is mentioned when applying

• Happy to work mainly weekends please also let us know if you can work midweek our events usually run Friday through to Monday.

• Driving License (preferable)
• Any outdoor activity experience either as a hobby or as paid employment
• Any facetoface customer service experience you have
• If you have attended any gift experience days
• Any event experience you have

Additional information

You can also choose WHEN you want to work as we are flexible when allocating work, however we are looking for people to cover events four days a week Friday to Monday, this involves travelling Thursday evenings and coming back Monday evening.

The role is available year-round with the majority of events taking place in the summer months.

Salary:
£8.21 - £9.50 per hour plus additional money should you stay away from home overnight and there is also extra money for those willing to drive company vehicles.

Weekly pay in a busy period can be up to £500 dependent on how many days you work, location of the event, time of year and whether you drive vans
