Are you a passionate and dedicated DT Teacher with a proven track record in strong behaviour management? We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Secondary School DT Teacher to join an OFSTED rated 'Good' school in Wigan. This is a temporary position starting September up until at the end of the academic year.

Key Responsibilities:

Planning and preparing DT lessons up to KS4 level.

Utilize strong behaviour management strategies to ensure a conducive atmosphere for learning.

Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters academic and personal development.

Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.

Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the overall success of the DT department and the school.

Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a PGCE in Secondary Education. Must specialise in DT

A valid DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) certificate or a willingness to obtain one before starting.

Skills and Attributes:

Exceptional behaviour management skills to create a positive and focused learning environment.

Ability to use a range of workshop tools and equipment and have a working understanding of how they are maintained

Plan, prepare and deliver DT lessons up till KS4
