The role of inspector operator will have dual responsibilities for production of product as well as monitoring in-process product and final inspection as detailed within Quality Inspection Plans and Plating production packs.

8 hour shifts working 7am-3pm/3pm-11pm/11pm-7am rotationally

Role Responsibilities

• Will effectively carry out the reeltoreel electroplating process on various lines in accordance to customer specifications and good quality standards.
• Inprocess/ Process final inspection using general inspection equipment i.e. micrometers, verniers, shadowgraphs and XRF
• Maintain traceability by keeping up to date records of production and inspection
• Contribute to team delivery of targets and goals within the department.
• Support a climate of Continuous improvement and 5S to assist in productivity; quality; health, safety and environment.
• Use plating and inspection product pacts to ensure product is within specifications and tolerance of customers' requirements.
• Ensuring documentation being used is at the correct revision level
• Ensuring that all gauging and measurement equipment being used is current with regard to calibration requirements
• Understand the principles of COSHH controlled substances
• Any other reasonable requests
• Basic proficiency with hand tools desirable (allen keys/spanners/screw drivers)
• Experience in electroplating desirable but not essential
• High level of attention to detail and documentation.
